We are following the book "Drawing with Children" to learn how to draw. The book uses the Monart Method, which teaches visual perception and realistic drawing skills at a level never before seen with young people and adults.
This book gives beginners of any age the basic information they need to analyze and reproduce what they see.

You might know that the Schultz family is learning how to work with leather. We work on our leathercrafting every Saturday with our kids, and pick something we want to create. Some of our creations are bookmarks with flower patterns, bracelets with flowers, or copying a cool dragon design on leather just for practise.

Today, Karen asked me to check out some LEGO lessons plans that she found at The Old School House Store. I quickly glanced at some of the lesson plans, and some caught my eyes, others did not, and some I noticed we could not do because we do not have the parts. I was very interested in a Lego Windmill that you put in front of a fan, and the wind from the fan turns the windmill. The windmill powers a small programmable lego computer that lights up different lights depending on how fast the wind is turning the windmill.
We put the links to the Lego sites under Lesson Plan links.
